West Africa already ships fine green beans to Europe every winter, and Togo has the same advantage: a cool, dry season from November to April that suits the crop perfectly. Our partner growers pick by hand every two to four days, so the pods stay slender, tender and stringless, then the beans are sorted by diameter.
Three grades to choose from:
- Extra-fine (up to 6.5 mm): thin, delicate and quick to cook. This is the grade fine-dining kitchens and gourmet shops ask for.
- Fine (up to 9.5 mm): the everyday standard for supermarket shelves and restaurant kitchens.
- Bobby (larger, fleshy pods): great value for stews, stir-fries, freezing and canning.
How we supply them:
- Packed in 5 kg cartons, grouped by basket (4 cartons, 20 kg), crate (10 cartons, 50 kg) or pallet (40 cartons, 200 kg).
- Pre-cooled right after picking and kept at 5–7 °C. Green beans stay fresh 8 to 12 days, so we ship them by air freight.
Every lot is traceable to the farm.
