DIKOBIO (“DIKOBIO”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website dikobio.com, a business-to-business wholesale sourcing platform connecting agricultural producers and suppliers in Togo and West Africa with professional buyers in Canada. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, including:
- Contact and enquiry information submitted through our General Contact, Wholesale Quote Request, Custom Sourcing Request, and Supplier Application forms — name, company name, job title, business type, email, phone, country/province/city, product interests, quantities, and any message content you provide.
- Account information if you create a buyer account through WooCommerce My Account — name, email, billing/shipping address, and order history.
- Order and payment information for any completed purchase, processed through our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers.
- Technical information collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, through standard web server logs and any analytics tools in use (see our Cookie Policy).
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to wholesale, sourcing, and supplier enquiries;
- Prepare and send commercial quotations and product information;
- Process and fulfil orders where direct purchase has been enabled;
- Operate and maintain buyer accounts;

- Improve our website, catalogue, and services;
- Meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations related to international trade.

Who we share information with
We may share information with service providers who help us operate the website and our business, including our web hosting provider (Hostinger), our form and email notification tools (WPForms), our payment processor (Stripe), and, where a wholesale order proceeds to shipment, relevant logistics, customs, and trade partners necessary to fulfil that specific shipment. These providers are only given the information needed to perform their function.
We may also disclose information where required by law, such as in response to a valid request from a Canadian regulatory or tax authority.
International data and sourcing
Because DIKOBIO coordinates sourcing between Togo/West Africa and Canada, information related to a specific commercial shipment (such as product, quantity, and delivery details) may be shared with suppliers, freight, and customs partners located outside Canada, solely for the purpose of fulfilling that shipment.
Data retention
We retain enquiry, quote, and account information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain our business records, and meet tax and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your information at any time, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
Your rights
