Chicken
Available in West Africa only, priced in FCFA. Sourced from local producers and delivered in WAEMU countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo). Not available for shipment to Canada. Subject to applicable veterinary and sanitary requirements.
Oven-ready broiler chickens (1.5–2.5 kg) and local village chickens, poulet bicyclette (0.8–1.2 kg), veterinary-inspected and delivered by refrigerated truck within the WAEMU zone. Priced per bird in FCFA.
For restaurants, maquis, hotels, caterers, canteens and retailers across West Africa, we supply two kinds of oven-ready whole chicken:
- Broiler chicken: 1.5, 2 or 2.5 kg, from poultry farms, tender and quick to cook.
- Local chicken (poulet bicyclette): 0.8, 1 or 1.2 kg, the traditional village chicken raised outdoors, with firm, full-flavoured meat for sauces, soups and grills.
Both are slaughtered under veterinary inspection, plucked and eviscerated, and delivered chilled or frozen by refrigerated truck. Minimum order: 10 birds.
Where we deliver: this product is sold and delivered in West Africa only (WAEMU countries), priced in FCFA. It is sourced from licensed poultry suppliers in the delivery country and is not exported to Canada.
