DikoBio buys from producers in Togo and West Africa and sells to restaurants, distributors and grocers in Canada. One company is accountable from the farm to your door.
Why we started
Most food imported from West Africa reaches a Canadian buyer after two or three intermediaries. Each one adds cost and delay, and when something goes wrong, nobody is clearly responsible. We built DikoBio to cut that chain short. We deal directly with producers in Togo and the region, we plan around CFIA rules from the start, and you have one contact from order to delivery.
Today the catalogue covers fresh fruit and vegetables, pulses and cereals for Canada, plus meat and eggs sold within West Africa.
How we got here

DFS incorporated
DIKO FOODS SERVICES INC. is registered in Ottawa. Work starts on a bilingual wholesale catalogue priced in Canadian dollars and CFA francs.

The site becomes DikoBio
The platform takes the name DikoBio and the first product pages go online.
Now
Fresh produce
Fresh fruit and vegetables are now in the catalogue. We are qualifying cold-chain partners on both sides of the Atlantic: VersaCold and Congebec in Canada, AGL and MEDLOG in Togo.

Every lot is linked to a named producer or cooperative in Togo or a neighbouring country.
Paperwork done early
We check CFIA and Safe Food for Canadians requirements before a shipment leaves, so problems don’t surface at the border.
