Quail of 180, 200 or 250 g live weight, delivered oven-ready in trays of 10, raised by quail farmers in the region. Delicate, tender meat, slaughtered under veterinary inspection and delivered by refrigerated truck within the WAEMU zone. Priced per bird.
Quail farming has grown fast in West Africa, and these small birds are now a favourite of restaurants, hotels and caterers for grills, starters, cocktail menus and gourmet dishes. Their meat is tender and delicate, quick to cook and easy to portion. Our quail are raised by farmers in the region and slaughtered under veterinary inspection.
How we supply it:
- Three sizes, sold by live weight: 180 g, 200 g and 250 g (6.3, 7.1 and 8.8 oz). The oven-ready bird is about 70 % of the live weight (about 125–175 g).
- Oven-ready: plucked and eviscerated, priced per bird and packed in trays of 10.
- Chilled or frozen after slaughter and delivered in an unbroken cold chain by refrigerated truck.
- Minimum order: 50 quail (5 trays).
Where we deliver: this product is sold and delivered in West Africa only (WAEMU countries), priced in FCFA. It is sourced from licensed poultry suppliers in the delivery country and is not exported to Canada.
