Zucchini does not like heavy rain, so our partner growers near Lomé plant it in the dry season and water it by irrigation. They walk the rows every two to three days and pick the fruit young, at 15–20 cm: that is when the skin is shiny, the flesh is firm and the seeds are barely there. Left longer on the plant, a zucchini turns bland and watery.
How we supply them:
- Two sizes, about 200 g and 300 g per zucchini.
- Three lot formats: basket (20 kg), crate (50 kg) and pallet (200 kg), in ventilated cartons that protect the delicate skin.
- Kept at 7–10 °C. Zucchini stays fresh only 1 to 2 weeks, so we ship it by air freight.
Grill it, sauté it, add it to ratatouille, soups and stir-fries, or spiralize it for low-carb dishes. It is a steady seller for grocers, restaurants and health-food buyers. Every lot is traceable to the farm.
We confirm the harvest window with you before each order.
