Like cauliflower, broccoli needs mild weather to form tight, deep-green heads, so in Togo it is grown only during the cool harmattan months, from November to February, and in small volumes. It is one of the rarest vegetables in our range, and we recommend booking ahead.
The heads are cut early in the morning, while the florets are firm and closed, then cooled immediately. Broccoli keeps its colour and crunch best when packed with ice.
How we supply it:
- Two sizes, about 400 g and 600 g per head.
- Packed in 10 kg cartons, or by the pallet of 300 kg (30 cartons).
- Kept at 0–4 °C. Broccoli stays fresh only 10 to 14 days, so we ship it exclusively by air freight.
Steam it, roast it, stir-fry it or add it to salads, soups and pasta. Every lot is traceable to the farm.
Volumes are small, so check availability with us before the season starts.
