Quail farming has grown quickly around Lomé, Cotonou and Abidjan. Quail hens lay almost one egg a day all year round, so supply is steady. Each egg weighs 10–12 g and has a cream shell speckled with brown. They are boiled whole for appetisers, skewers and salads, and shops sell them by the tray.
How we supply them:
- Packed in plastic trays of 30 eggs, or by the carton of 20 trays (600 eggs).
- Collected fresh from the farm, checked for cracks and kept cool (10–15 °C) until delivery by refrigerated truck.
- Best used within 4 weeks of laying.
- Minimum order: 10 trays.
Where we deliver: this product is sold and delivered in West Africa only (WAEMU countries), priced in FCFA. It is sourced from quail farms in the delivery country and is not exported to Canada.
